It is a multi-storey building in addition to service elements such as parking lots in the Complex garage-in the basement - along with restaurants, coffee shops, complex for internal and external hall and stores. It should be noted that the building is fully equipped with the latest installations and equipment in accordance with the internationally approved standards and specification which consist in remote control equipment, electric generators, mechanic and sanitary installation together with electronic equipment for communications, fire alarm devices, audio visual equipment as part of its furnishings and out fits.

In designing the building, it has been taken into consideration the possibility of using same by various and different bodies whether in the design of typical floors in the towers or in the basement and first floor. Design was made based on the concept of open halls that help to divide the internal spaces by light partitions, subject to easy change and modification at any time according to the requirements of the tenant.

The Administrative Complex "Dhat El-Imad" encompasses the following main components:

The Body

Consist in two floor, ground and first floor at a total area of 19,863 sq.m. divided into six groups each group contains 6 offices with area ranging from 250 to 350 sq.m. provided with a suit for information and reception and six office, each office opens into a waiting room fitted out with service components such as coffee shop, stores, men WC, women WC, barber’s. in addition to that, the same offices and service elements are repeated in the first floor and are accessed by an internal stair case in the waiting room. The first floor is distinguished by the existence of five small halls each with an area of 120 sq.m.

Basement Garage

This storey was designed for the purpose of holding the Complex – services with an area of 14,500 sq.m. and includes:

Car parking lot

• Servicing spaces
• Mechanical and electrical rooms
• Stores and warehouses
• Telephone exchange

In this design it has been taken into consideration that each tower shall contain separate and independent elements from the other towers.

Towers

In the plan, it was envisaged that the Complex shall have five identical towers connected through the Complex body. Each tower consists in 16 floors with a buildup area of 7,000 sq.m. approximately and include:

• Thirteen (13) floors for use as offices floors from the forth to the sixteenth were designed as offices. Each floor area at 500 sq.m., 88 sq.m. out of which for service elements and movement, making allowance, in designing of offices, the possibility of controlling and use of the existing spaces as designated by the tenant, a fact that allow ample flexibility for change and modification.
• For mechanical service, the last floor in each tower was designated.

Inauguration

In a charming and cheerful atmosphere, this complex was opened and given the name of “Dhat El Imad” to be a cultural landmark and one of the significant achievements of the Great Al-Fateh of September Revolution and the Ceremony was crowned by the presence of the Revolutionary Muslim Leader, Colonel / Muammar Al-Gaddafi, to announce the start-up of the haughty edifice, like the highness and glory of the eminent Al-Fateh Revolution.
